Caitlin is originally from Chicago, IL, and has spent time living in Arizona and Los Angeles. She began her career as an actor before relocating to England to train as a voice coach. Now based in the UK, she brings a transatlantic perspective to her work and takes joy in hearing her toddler seamlessly blend American and East London sounds.
Caitlin loves coaching American accents, lending her native ear to help actors access the sounds of the story. She has also coached European and UK regional accents. An experienced voice coach, Caitlin has served as both dialect and vocal support on numerous productions. Her work is always actor-focused, and she has a particular gift for putting people at ease. She is adept at adapting her approach to different styles and preferences, and her background as an actor helps her connect not only with actors but also with directors and production teams—making voice work a seamless collaboration.
Caitlin has had the pleasure of working with actors such as Rory Kinnear, Harriet Walter, Rebecca Ferguson, Pearl Chanda, Eli Gelb, Chumisa Dornford-May, and Rob Madge, among many others. In theatre, she has worked with directors including Jordan Fein, Joe Mantello, and Michael Longhurst.
Caitlin holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Arizona and an MFA in Voice Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
For her work on Here We Are at the National Theatre, BBC Radio 4’s Front Row described Rory Kinnear’s American accent as “second to none.”

For Broken Glass at the Young Vic, her accent work received praise from The Upcoming, which noted that “the New York accents from a predominantly British cast are very convincing.”
