Andor, the prequel series to Star Wars’ ‘Rogue One’, has arrived and viewers are thrown into an era of fear, deception and hazard. Marina Tyndall has followed Cassian, (Diego Luna), on his destined path.
Directed by Toby Haynes, Susanna White, Benjamin Caron and written by Tony and Dan Gilroy, Stephen Schiff, and Beau Willimon, the team have taken on a new perspective in the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. As the series unfolds viewers witness a burgeoning rebellion against the Empire which includes every living being from the people to the planets. Marina has worked with the team to produce the language through which everyone in this galaxy can communicate, and it is fascinating to watch and learn.
Working alongside Luna we have Genevieve O'Reilly as Mon Mothma, Alex Ferns as SGT. Kostek, and Stellan Skarsgård as Luthan Rael, and many more spectacular cast members, all of who are involved in Cassian's journey becoming a rebel hero. Diego Luna remarks on his enjoyable experience reprising his role,
"Going back to the Star Wars universe is very special for me. I have so many memories of the great work we did together and the relationships I made throughout the journey. We have a fantastic adventure ahead of us, and this new exciting format will give us the chance to explore this character more deeply."
