Marina Tyndall

Marina Tyndall is a voice coach specialising in accent and dialect. She currently teavches US Accents and Dialects at Central School of Speech and Drama, Ear Training and Phonetics on Italia Conti's BA Acting, and Accents for Actors at City Lit, Holborn. She has been a visiting Lecturer in Accents and Dialects at Drama Centre London, Rose Bruford College, WAC College of Performing Arts and London Centre for Theatre Studies. She has also acted as freelance dialect coach for numerous productions including the award-winning The Bogus Woman, Word:Play, Fanny and Faggot, Rubenstein's Kiss, The Full Monty, Edinburgh Festival drama The Container, The Vagina Monologues and forthcoming feature film Soul Boy (2010).
Together with Dialect Coaches Helen Ashton and Sarah Shepherd she runs RP Intensive events for specific accent groups, including RP for American Actors, RP for Northern Actors, RP for Australian Actors and RP for London Actors.
Her private clients include employees of The United Nations, BBC World Service, Google, AOL, Ernst & Young and the Canadian High Commission. Marina holds an MA Voice Studies from Central School of Speech and Drama, an IPA Proficiency Certificate from University College London and a Cambridge Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults. Marina is a Spanish speaker currently studying towards her Advanced DELE Certificate.
