Carol has been a freelance voice coach for 13 years having trained in voice at Central School of Speech and Drama.
At the beginning of the year she returned from Australia having been resident coach for the Sydney Theatre Company. There she worked on Andrew Upton's new play 'Riflemind' directed by Phillip Seymour Hoffman and 'Blackbird' directed by Cate Blanchett.
She has recently been working for the New Shakespeare Company at Regent's park Open Air Theatre on three plays directed by Tim Sheader, Edward Dick and Dominic Leclerc.
She sees her role as one of support in the creative process enabling the actor to marry instinct with technical skill.
She is known for her work with inexperienced and untrained actors under pressure to perform at a high level.
