Bardy's voice teaching career began at the Central School of Speech and Drama, a school which placed an extremely high value on vocal training; during her time on the teaching staff she trained many of today's very successful actors. She moved from drama school training to voice coaching in the profession firstly at the RSC and later at the National Theatre. She worked with actots and on new work at the NT studio, led by Peter Gill, and on many main house productions where she coached among others Ian Mckellen, Harriet Walker, Eleanor Bron and Ben Kingsley. As a freelance practitioner she worked with clients from the business sector and politicians. She coached actors for television and film, notably Hugh Grant and Helena Bonham-Carter. Later she moved back into Drama School taking a position at RADA, where she became Dean of Studies. During her time there she was responsible for the training of many of our rising stars who among others are Ioan Gruffudd, Matthew Macfadyen, Eve Best, Ben Whishaw, and Lisa Dillon. She retired from her post as Dean at RADA in 2007 to resume a voice coaching career in film, television and Theatre.

She also runs, with colleague Jennie Buckman - Dramatic Difference - Theatre Training for Business performance.
