Anne Walsh
Areas of Expertise: Voice, Accent
After an earllier career as a dancer, Anne's lifelong fascination with human voice led her to study singing at an undergraduate level, followed by the PG Diploma in Voice Studies at Central School of Speech and Drama. Anne now combines Voice Coaching, Accent and Dialect work in Film, TV and Theatre with private group and one-to-one coaching in Voice, Accents and Dialects, and Accent Reduction.
Anne is passionately committed to helping actors realise their best whether through accent and dialect coaching, accent reduction or pure voice work. She has worked on production with actors such as Daniel Craig "Munich" (first session), Mona Hammond "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers - (preparation and ADR); George Irving "The French Lieutenant's Woman"; and Martin Freeman, Wayne Sleep and Stefan Booth, in a private capacity.
She was Dialogue Assistant on Stephen Spielberg's 2005 film "Munich" - working with international actors such as Mathieu Almaric, Yvann Attal, Marie Josee-Croze, Gila Almagor and Makram Khoury, amongst others. She provided practical voice coaching alongside a Pomanian accent on "Kebab" at the Royal Court Theatre in September 2007 and was able to draw on her earlier background in singing and dance when coaching musical theatre performers on "I can get it for you wholsale" at the Arcola Theatre in 2001.
So whether your production requires an accent, accent reduction, or voice coach - or an individual-bespoke mix - Anne would be delighted to come on board.
